Guardian Homes
Thank you for your interest in our guardian home program.
We believe a dog’s well being must come first, therefore our guardian home program is geared for just that. With this unique opportunity our dogs live a happy pampered life with their forever family in a home, not a kennel.
Once the dog finishes their breeding career they are spayed/neutered at the breeders expense and then remain your forever pet.
Please read the agreement before applying.

Differences Between Male and Female Guardian
Males
Compared to females, the role of a stud is less demanding but extends over a longer period of time.
Our boys typically have much shorter time commitments away from home.
Most breeding-related appointments only require them to be away for a morning or afternoon.
Males may begin their breeding careers around 1 year old.
They can continue as a stud for up to 7 years, however, most will retire from breeding by around 5 years of age.
Females
Higher Compensation
Our girls typically have three to four litters, unless health considerations require an earlier retirement.
Breeding involves one or two appointments with the selected stud.
After breeding, she remains in her guardian home until approximately one week before her due date. She then returns to us to settle in and prepare for delivery.
Following the birth, she stays with us until her puppies are fully weaned—usually around 5 weeks of age. At that point, she is Most females retire from their breeding career before the age of four.
